A simply beautiful solid copper heated air jetted bathtub with a mirror polished exterior. This lovely deep bathtub has the jet plumbing and blower discretely concealed inside the pedestal base which forms part of the tub. To activate the air jets, simply press the remote control button.
The mirror polished exterior finish is fabulous and totally reflective. Since we do not lacquer coat the exterior, it remains a living finish. To slow any aging, we apply natural beeswax to the exterior. To keep the exterior shiny, any marks should be rubbed and polished using Mother's polish and further coats of beeswax can also be applied. We supply one tub of Mothers and one tub of Beeswax with every polished tub sold.
The inside of the tub is left either in a light aged finish. We do not lacquer the inside as it will ultimately strip off during use. The light aged interior will continue to patina slowly but beautifully and naturally over the years.
Unlike most other copper tubs on the market, our copper tubs are supplied with four leveling feet that can be used to attach the tub firmly to the floor so it will not be moved if bumped.
For upkeep, always dry the interior of your bathtub with a soft cloth after use. After each use, activate the air blower to remove any residual water trapped in the air lines.
At 79" long, this tub is comfortable for persons around 6'9" tall or two bathers (see photo of 5'8" person inside tub). Like the majority of solid copper tubs on the market, it offers a comfortably supportive back area.
