Empress EM67N 67" Hydromassage Water and Air Jetted Single Slipper Clawfoot Tub Package with Accessories (photo here shows 73" version with oil rubbed bronze fixtures and fittings). Ready to plug in to TWO 15 amp 110 v GFCI's
Made in the USA, our hydro-massage tubs incorporate high pressure heated water massage for aching muscles, lower back and feet as well as calming, soothing air bubble action from strategically positioned injectors.
This is a delightful and roomy 67" long single slipper clawfoot hydrotherapy bathtub. It is freestanding and its' features include heated air jetting, heated water jetting to maintain the water temperature (may slightly increase the temperature after running 20-30 minutes) and chromotherapy underwater mood lighting. The jets are specially positioned to give best therapeutic results. There are 2 lower lumbar jets, 2 foot jets, 6 direction adjustable side jets and 18 individually placed air jets along the leg area and at the back. The double shell design of the tub makes it possible to maintain the original clawfoot tub appearance with all of the jetting features hidden in between the shells. the double shell feature also offers exceptional water heat retention. To keep the injected air bubbles as warm as possible, we equip the blower with a powerful heating element to pre-heat the injected air. This heater will raise the ambient temperature 15 to 20 degrees within a period of around 2 minutes, so switching the air jetting on before entering the tub can be a good idea. While not feeling just as cool, even heated air bubbles will feel a little cool when they make contact with the skin. Each Empress tub has two standard 15 amp - 110v plugs that come from the back of the tub to be connected to ground force circuit interrupter electrical points on your wall. The entire installation is incredibly simple.
Care and Maintenance To remove most stains on the acrylic surfaces, it will only need to be wiped down with a soft cloth and some very gentle soap without abrasives.
To maintain hygiene in the air pipes, every time you take a bath and drain the water, engage the blower for about 15 seconds to purge all residual water in the lines. Every three months, we recommend that you fill the tub about two inches over the highest jet with lukewarm water and add a half cup of bleach. Engage the air blower and water pump and let run for five minutes. Empty and repeat this step with clean water and finally press the air button to purge the air lines when the tub is empty. It is safe to use bath salts and bubble bath within the system but just remember that if you use too much bubble bath, the bubbles could really mount up, especially with the water jets on.
To complete the Empress package, we combine it with our beautiful Victoriana tub filler and drain in your choice of available colors.
SanSiro Jetted Tubs - Electrical Cord Position on Tub All of the jetted tubs in the SanSiro range use a 3' long cable 110v – 15-amp standard 3 pin plug. You have choices as to where you would like the plug on the jetting system to connect to the GFCI outlet in your home. 1 - Leave the connection under the tub. In this case, you would need to have your GFCI at the control board and not on the plug under the tub. 2.- Connect to a wall socket GFCI. You can drill holes in the outside of the tub and run the electrical cable to a wall mounted GFCI near the tub. 3 - To drill the holes, we recommend first drilling the 1/8” (bit supplied) pilot hole and then the hole saw supplied. If you have two plugs, drill two holes. 4 - You can then feed the cord through the hole(s) and attach the rubber grommet. This grommet fits around the inside of the hole to prevent a rough tub edge rubbing on the electrical cord. Just in case you need it, we include an additional 3’ long extension cord for each plug on the tub. See or print photo directions
