VTAFL62 62" HOT AIR Massage Classic Style Tub with Drain and Concealed Blower
Ready to plug in to a 15 amp 110 v GFCI
Photo here shows 56" version of the tub, proportions may change a little on different length tubs
The 'VTAFL62' is a substantially constructed classic style pedestal bathtub offering an original vintage shape. This is spacious small tub with good leg room for it's size, but please check out the photos below for leg room (see photos pf person in tub). A truly beautiful bathtub finished in high gloss white acrylic exterior and interior with an easy clean slip resistant floor.
Soothe away the aches of the day in a luxurious hot air massage bathtub. We offer a three speed control air pressure with an oscillating feature. All of our individual flat face air injectors are placed on the bottom of the tub to massage calves and thighs. We use a powerful 600w heater in our hot air blower to increase the ambient temperature 20 to 25 degrees within a period of around 2 minutes, so switching the air jetting on before entering the tub can be a good idea.
To install, all your contractor has to do is plug in the three foot of cable from the back of your tub into a standard 15 amp GFCI. In the unlikely event of blower issues, the very simple remedy is through disconnecting the water supply and drain, turning the tub over and fixing the problem.
Our CoreAcryl acrylic is designed to offer exceptional heat retention and is a substantial 3/4" thick at the lip and drain.
The VTAFL62 classic style package has everything required by your plumber to install from the floor up.
SanSiro Jetted Tubs - Electrical Cord Position on Tub
All of the jetted tubs in the SanSiro range use a 3' long cable 110v – 15-amp standard 3 pin plug. You have choices as to where you would like the plug on the jetting system to connect to the GFCI outlet in your home.
1 - Leave the connection under the tub. In this case, you would need to have your GFCI at the control board and not on the plug under the tub.
2.- Connect to a wall socket GFCI. You can drill holes in the outside of the tub and run the electrical cable to a wall mounted GFCI near the tub.
3 - To drill the holes, we recommend first drilling the 1/8” (bit supplied) pilot hole and then the hole saw supplied. If you have two plugs, drill two holes.
4 - You can then feed the cord through the hole(s) and attach the rubber grommet. This grommet fits around the inside of the hole to prevent a rough tub edge rubbing on the electrical cord.
Just in case you need it, we include an additional 3’ long extension cord for each plug on the tub.
