'Ginevra-Air67' 67" CoreAcryl WHITE French Bateau HEATED AIR JETTED Acrylic Skirted Bathtub Package with an Aged Chrome Finish Exterior (photo here shows 67") Ready to connect to a 15 amp GFCI plug
Made in the USA,
Soothe away the aches of the day in a luxurious heated air massage bathtub. All of our individual flat face air injectors are placed on the bottom of the tub to massage calves and thighs.
To keep the injected air bubbles as warm as possible, we equip the blower with a powerful heating element to pre-heat the injected air. This heater will raise the ambient temperature 15 to 20 degrees within a period of around 2 minutes, so switching the air jetting on before entering the tub can be a good idea. While not feeling just as cool, even heated air bubbles will feel a little cool when they make contact with the skin. To maintain hygiene in the air pipes, every time you take a bath and drain the water, engage the blower for about 15 seconds to purge all residual water in the lines. Every three months, we recommend that you fill the tub about two inches over the highest jet with lukewarm water and add a half cup of bleach. Engage the blower and let run for two minutes. Empty and repeat this step with clean water and purge the lines when the tub is empty.
In the unlikely event of a blower failure, replacing it is also very simple, just disconnect the tub from the drain, turn it over and replace the blower, about a 30 minute job.
Product Details The gorgeous shape of this pedestal tub is made even more elegant when finished in aged chrome. This is not a glitzy tub and in fact the exterior finish is relatively subdued and subtle. While the exterior definitely looks like metal, it shows what appears to be the effects of natural aging on the surface.
A truly beautiful bathtub finished in high gloss or eggshell finish Aged Chrome exterior and high gloss white interior with an easy clean slip resistant floor.
The Aged Chrome is a proprietary finish developed by Baths of Distinction in 2013. It consists of several step processes for initial coating, polishing and applying a specially developed chrome particle liquid to the surface before finishing with three coats of high gloss or eggshell clear protective lacquer. The end result is a metallic worn chrome look that has been polished to show it's original sheen. It is simple to wipe clean, needing only a soft cloth.
To assist you in your decision making, we'll be happy to send samples on request.
For interior cleaning, we recommend a soft cloth and a cleaner like Simple Green, we don't recommend anything abrasive. The faucet and fittings are also very easy to maintain. To prevent calcium build up in hard water areas, we recommend that the fixtures are dried with a soft cloth after each use.
SanSiro Jetted Tubs - Electrical Cord Position on Tub All of the jetted tubs in the SanSiro range use a 3' long cable 110v – 15-amp standard 3 pin plug. You have choices as to where you would like the plug on the jetting system to connect to the GFCI outlet in your home. 1 - Leave the connection under the tub. In this case, you would need to have your GFCI at the control board and not on the plug under the tub. 2.- Connect to a wall socket GFCI. You can drill holes in the outside of the tub and run the electrical cable to a wall mounted GFCI near the tub. 3 - To drill the holes, we recommend first drilling the 1/8” (bit supplied) pilot hole and then the hole saw supplied. If you have two plugs, drill two holes. 4 - You can then feed the cord through the hole(s) and attach the rubber grommet. This grommet fits around the inside of the hole to prevent a rough tub edge rubbing on the electrical cord. Just in case you need it, we include an additional 3’ long extension cord for each plug on the tub. See or print photo directions
