Made in the USA, the SanSiro 'Asti59EAJ' is a fabulous Zen style minimalist air jetted acrylic bathtub.

Soothe away the aches of the day in a luxurious heated air jetted bathtub. We offer variable speed handheld remote control blower activation. There are 14 individual flat face air injectors, 8 on the floor and 4 on the back and 2 at the feet to massage calves, thighs, feet and back. We use a heated blower to increase the ambient temperature of the bubbles 15 to 20 degrees within a period of around 2 minutes. Switching the air jetting on before entering the tub can be a good idea. While the air is heated, it can still feel slightly cool when the bubbles touch the skin, it will not feel hotter than the water in the tub.

To maintain hygiene in the air pipes, every time you take a bath and drain the water, engage the blower for about 15 seconds to purge all residual water in the lines. Every three months, we recommend that you fill the tub about two inches over the highest jet with lukewarm water and add a half cup of bleach. Engage the blower and let run for two minutes. Empty and repeat this step with clean water and purge the lines when the tub is empty.

The underside and sides of the tub are specially fiberglass and resin coated and the air cavity in between the inner and outer shells acts as a natural heat loss barrier. We have conducted tests with a foam filled cavity instead of air and there is no improvement on heat retention.
