VTABT67 67" Heated Air Jetted French Bateau Tub with Drain and Concealed Bl Ready to plug in to a 15 amp 110 v GFCI Photograph here shows the 67" version, actual proportions on other lengths may vary slightly.
Soothe away the aches of the day in a luxurious heated air massage bathtub. We offer single speed on/off control. All of our individual flat face air injectors are placed on the bottom of the tub to massage calves and thighs. We use a powerful 600w heater in our hot air blower to increase the ambient temperature 15 to 20 degrees within a period of around 2 minutes, so switching the air jetting on before entering the tub can be a good idea. While the air is heated, it can still feel slightly cool when the bubbles meets the skin, it will not feel hotter than the water in the tub.
Installation on this tub is very simple, everything needed is part of the tub. Simply connect the regular 3-pin plug to a 110v-15 amp GFCI and you're ready to go. The blower is inside the pedestal. In the unlikely event of a blower failure, replacing it is also very simple, just disconnect the electric and tub from the drain, turn it over and replace the blower, about a 30 minute job.
For cleaning of the air pipes, every time you take a bath and drain the water, engage the blower for about 15 seconds to purge all residual water in the lines. Every 6 months, we recommend that you fill the tub about two inches over the highest jet with luke warm water and add a half cup of bleach. Engage the blower and let run for five minutes. Repeat this step with clean water and purge the lines when the tub is empty.
SanSiro Jetted Tubs - Electrical Cord Position on Tub All of the jetted tubs in the SanSiro range use a 3' long cable 110v – 15-amp standard 3 pin plug. You have choices as to where you would like the plug on the jetting system to connect to the GFCI outlet in your home. 1 - Leave the connection under the tub. In this case, you would need to have your GFCI at the control board and not on the plug under the tub. 2.- Connect to a wall socket GFCI. You can drill holes in the outside of the tub and run the electrical cable to a wall mounted GFCI near the tub. 3 - To drill the holes, we recommend first drilling the 1/8” (bit supplied) pilot hole and then the hole saw supplied. If you have two plugs, drill two holes. 4 - You can then feed the cord through the hole(s) and attach the rubber grommet. This grommet fits around the inside of the hole to prevent a rough tub edge rubbing on the electrical cord. Just in case you need it, we include an additional 3’ long extension cord for each plug on the tub. See or print photo directions
