'Boutique Hotel Aged French Bateau Clawfoot' Distressed Metal Coating Exterior Designer Collection Package

Includes any of our fabulous CoreAcryl Acrylic French Bateau tubs in any size from 59", 67" or 73" length. The tub is exterior coated with a living finish bright metal then polished to an almost mirror finish and distressed to show a finish of years of natural wear and tear. The heavy cast ball and claw feet are coated and distressed to match the tub surface. Included in the package are the freestanding supply lines with valves plus a Victoriana faucet, all in matching bright chrome finish.

Exterior Finish

The distressed bright metal finish takes about 8 days to apply and cure.  It will continue to cure after installation and can quite easily be marked or scratched during handling and installation. While we recommend extreme care during installation, we also supply a small sample of the metal finish for repair of marked areas.  This is quite a simple process.   Simply shake the bottle and spray the finish lightly over the marked area and it will blend in.  

Care of Exterior Finish

Use a soft dry cloth to lightly dust off any marks on the tub.  As with all living finishes, excess rubbing will effect the coating. In fact, this is how we age our worn versions of this same bathtub.  To maintain the bright finish, only a feather duster or very soft cloth should be used for the exterior.
